Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive Process Engineer for Saint-Gobain Placo, playing a key role in the continuous improvement of industrial processes related to safety, environment, productivity, and costs. Your role will be critical in characterizing and continuously improving existing industrial processes regarding safety, environmental impact, productivity, and cost reduction. Some of your responsibilities as a Process Engineer: * Implementation, application, and promotion of the Plant’s World Class Manufacturing Continuous Improvement methodology * Coordination of various factory departments—and external departments when necessary—in managing existing production operations as well as new projects, covering both technical aspects and the material and human resources employed * Analysis of existing mechanical and thermal processes for improvement and/or automation, based on proposals from the plant itself or from the Central Technical Department * Establishment and promotion of synergies and active collaboration with other plants and technical departments across the group concerning process-related topics and new products **Is this job for you?** This position is ideal if you match the following profile: Education * University degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field * Knowledge of Safety, Quality, Environment, and Energy policies * Familiarity with Environmental Management Systems and GHG emissions, ISO 50001 standard * Advanced level of English Experience * Minimum three years’ prior experience as a Process Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Production Engineer Soft Skills * Communicative, proactive, autonomous **A little more about us** MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER HOME—that is why we exist and our purpose.
