* #### **Country:** Spain * #### **Province:** Community of Madrid * #### **Description:** We are seeking a Python Engineer to join the Direct Actuarial team serving insured clients. The candidate will participate in developing technical solutions for implementing pricing models, automating processes, and enhancing internal tools, working closely with Actuarial and Technology teams. Responsibilities: \- Develop and implement Python applications and scripts to automate calculation and document management processes. \- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and maintainable solutions. \- Produce technical documentation (specifications, architecture, implementation and maintenance guides). \- Validate, test, and ensure code and calculation algorithm quality. \- Collaborate with Actuarial, Technology, and IT teams to ensure correct solution implementation. \- Identify improvements and optimize processes using sound software engineering practices. \- Participate in deploying and maintaining models using tools such as GitHub, MLflow, or similar technologies. Requirements: \- Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field. \- Solid experience developing with Python. \- Knowledge of libraries such as Pandas and NumPy. \- Experience applying development best practices: Git, testing, technical documentation, and version control. \- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving orientation. \- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams. \- Proactive, responsible profile with capacity for autonomous work. Preferred qualifications: \- Knowledge of cloud architectures. \- Experience with GitHub, MLflow, or similar tools for model deployment and management. \- Prior experience in projects related to analytical models, pricing, data, or actuarial environments.
