In addition to being an airline, we operate three other complementary businesses: aircraft maintenance, airport ground handling, and air cargo—serving both our own fleet and customers worldwide. **Your Role at Iberia** -------------------- As a **Production Engineer – Engine Workshop**, you will join the team responsible for driving continuous improvement in workshop operations, closely collaborating with production areas to ensure safe, efficient, and competitive operations. You will participate in the development, implementation, and optimization of production processes for the **CFM56, V2500, PW1100G\-JM (GTF), and LEAP** engine programs, contributing to improvements in quality, productivity, safety, and achievement of TAT, OTD, and profitability targets. Additionally, you will work on industrializing new capabilities, implementing improvement projects, and identifying opportunities for digitalization and automation of Engine Workshop processes. **Your Challenges** ------------- * Provide technical support to production areas to improve process efficiency and robustness. * Analyze production processes and identify improvement opportunities. * Lead the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives. * Design and implement new processes and work standards. * Analyze operational incidents and coordinate the definition and implementation of corrective actions. * Collaborate on industrialization projects for new capabilities and technologies. * Participate in digitalization and automation initiatives for operations. * Define and monitor process KPIs to ensure achievement of operational objectives. * Collaborate in defining and implementing CAPEX investments aimed at improving capacity, productivity, and safety. **Your Qualifications** --------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Industrial, Mechanical, Industrial Organization, Materials Engineering, or a related field. * English proficiency level B2 or equivalent (TOEIC score of 785 or higher). * 1–2 years of experience in industrial or aerospace environments—especially in production, operations, process engineering, or continuous improvement—is highly valued. * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process analysis, project management, and continuous improvement tools is desirable.
