We are looking for someone like you to join our **\#RumboSacyr** and help us continue improving people’s lives. **Job Functions and Responsibilities:** * Design and calculation of bridge substructures. * Technical support to construction sites. * Proposing alternative solutions to improve costs and schedules, both for ongoing projects and tenders. * Reviewing designs developed by external engineering firms during execution and proposing improvements. * Performing geometric alignments of structures and complete structural design (retaining walls, frames, bridges, etc.). **We seek a candidate with the following requirements and competencies:** * Degree in Civil Engineering (Civil Engineering, Water Resources and Ports). * Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil works structural design, either in engineering firms or technical departments of construction companies. * Required knowledge in: + Reinforced concrete structural design (retaining walls, frames, foundations). + Bridge substructure design (load analysis and calculation of piers and abutments). + Steel structural design (connections, sections, stability issues). + Construction process analysis (both qualitative and quantitative). + Spanish regulations, Eurocodes, AASHTO. + Seismic design (basic knowledge). * Software: Structural analysis software (SAP2000, CUBUS) and drafting software (ACAD).
