Job Summary: We are seeking a Backend Developer for a long-term project responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services and APIs using Java and SQL. Participation in agile development and continuous improvement At Accude, we are looking for a **Backend Developer** to join a long-term hybrid project based in Madrid. **Responsibilities:** * Design, development, and maintenance of high-performance backend services and APIs using Java and SQL. * Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to define system architecture and ensure seamless integration with frontend applications. * Development and maintenance of RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient communication between the mobile application, database, and other services. * Ensuring scalability, security, and performance of backend systems, with particular focus on real-time data processing and large-scale systems. * Collaboration with product managers, designers, and other developers to create and implement innovative solutions. * Implementation of best practices for data security, including encryption and secure handling of data. * Participation in agile development processes and contribution to code reviews and continuous improvement. * Continuous optimization of backend code to improve efficiency and reduce latency. **Requirements:** * Proven experience as a backend developer with strong expertise in Java (including Maven and the Spring framework). * Solid knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices, and API security (OAuth2, JWT). * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and distributed systems. * Proficiency in database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, or similar containerization tools. * Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in a collaborative and dynamic environment. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to efficiently optimize and scale systems. * Proficiency in English. * **Working hours**: 09:00–18:00 * **Work mode**: Hybrid — 3 days in office, 2 days remote. * **Location**: Madrid Capital, Velázquez Powered by Froala Editor Please attach your CV
