Currently, we are looking to hire two Java Backend Developer profiles with strong SQL and infrastructure expertise to participate in a strategic project within a highly demanding and regulated environment. The initiative focuses on database migration and consolidation, including implementation of a unified database, performance optimization, and resolution of existing vulnerabilities. This role combines hands-on technical development with responsibilities in code refactoring, troubleshooting, and execution of complex data migration processes. Additionally, the professional will participate in configuring critical environments such as UAT and Disaster Recovery, as well as in application integration and rationalization from an optimized architectural perspective. The technology stack includes Java/Spring for backend, advanced SQL as the central pillar of the project, and a cloud ecosystem based on AWS, alongside CI/CD and integration tools. This is a position with high technical visibility, where the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders—including non-technical profiles—is essential. REQUIREMENTS **Mandatory:** * Overall IT experience: 5–10 years. * Backend development: minimum 2–3 years working with Java and Spring Framework. * Advanced SQL: at least 3–5 years of solid experience with: * CTEs (Common Table Expressions) * Query optimization and execution plan analysis * Database indexing and tuning * Resolution of complex SQL incidents * Experience in database migrations and consolidation operations. * Infrastructure and Cloud: * AWS experience (S3, SQS, SSM, KMS) * Use of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar * High-level English (C1 or equivalent), with ability to communicate effectively in international settings. * Interpersonal skills: collaborative, communicative profile with ability to translate technical concepts into business terms. **Desirable:** * Prior experience in regulated environments (financial, insurance, etc.). * Knowledge of Disaster Recovery strategies and UAT environments. * Experience in application decommissioning and rationalization processes. * Background in system integration and distributed architectures. * Familiarity with additional automation or deployment tools (e.g., UrbanCode or others). **Additional Project Conditions:** * Immediate start. * Hybrid work model: * Madrid: 3 days onsite / 2 remote * Andalusia: 4 days onsite / 1 remote * Remote work possible for highly specialized profiles. * Working hours: * Monday–Thursday: 11:00–20:00 * Friday: 11:00–17:00
