The selected candidate will participate in development and design activities within the HLS team, engaging with data, business, and presentation layers using Java technologies across various group projects. Our purpose is to ensure universal access to clean, efficient, and high-quality energy. **Do you share our energy?** **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop products for the department. * Comply with and improve the product design process, as well as any other procedures within the R\u0026D\u0026i department. * Provide technical support to internal and external customers when required, in coordination with product engineers. * Participate in assigned projects (e.g., DNP, technical, cost-reduction, or quality-improvement initiatives) by the responsible product line manager. **Requirements:** * Academic background: Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Experience: At least 4 years of experience developing Java 8 applications; experience developing GUI applications using Swing or JavaFX. * Complementary skills: + Experience developing backend APIs (REST, Websocket, SOAP, etc.). + Experience developing with JUnit, Spring, Hibernate, Maven. + Experience developing using Jenkins, Sonar, Git, SVN. + Experience or knowledge of Linux or Unix operating systems. + Experience in industrial environment projects and control equipment. * Knowledge of IEC 61850 standard is desirable. * Languages: English B2. * Tools: + Eclipse and/or IntelliJ. + MySQL and/or PostgreSQL clients. + OxygenXML proficiency is desirable.
