As a Reverse Engineer and member of the Research \& Innovation team, you will be responsible for **analyzing hardware architectures, performing hardware hacking tasks**, and conducting **reverse engineering of firmware and communication protocols**. You will also **identify and exploit vulnerabilities**, develop **proof-of-concepts**, and support **cybersecurity research** related to emerging technologies. **What will be your main responsibilities?** * **Research and document** the hardware architecture of **IoT devices** to understand their operation and potential weaknesses. * **Perform hands-on hardware hacking tasks** on physical devices to identify vulnerabilities and assess system security. * **Analyze and reverse engineer** firmware and communication protocols to understand their internal operation and detect possible security flaws. * **Search for, locate, and exploit** vulnerabilities, developing techniques and methodologies while documenting these findings. * Develop **low-level proof-of-concepts** to demonstrate exploitation of identified vulnerabilities. * Provide **support for cybersecurity research focused on emerging technologies**, contributing through initiatives, analyses, and tests that help improve security. * Participate in the **development of internal tools**. **Why join Tarlogic?** At Tarlogic, working on challenging projects, learning and growing while enjoying a healthy work-life balance is not just rhetoric: **it's what we live every day.** Your time matters. Technical interview, during which the team will assess your technical knowledge and you’ll have the opportunity to get to know each other. 3\. Technical test to demonstrate your skills. Education: University degree in **Computer Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering**, or equivalent. Minimum requirements: * Between **0 and 5 years of experience** in similar roles. * Programming experience in **C/C\+\+ and/or Python**. * Experience in **reverse engineering**; **RISC\-V architectures are especially valued**. * Knowledge of **Git** for source code version control and collaboration in software development projects. * Knowledge of **Unix** systems (GNU/Linux). * **English**: Proficiency sufficient to read and understand technical documentation and write reports or emails fluently. Additionally, the following experience will be considered a strong asset: * Experience with **reverse engineering tools**, such as **Ghidra** (Radare, IDA). * Knowledge of **software engineering** principles (especially SOLID). * Knowledge of **object-oriented development** with **.Net (C\#)**. * Basic knowledge of **digital electronics**. * Experience in **embedded software development** and developing **proof-of-concepts for known vulnerabilities**. * Experience in **analysis and manipulation of digital circuits**, and use of hardware hacking tools. * Understanding of **communications** (SDR). * **Publication of personal projects** available on websites or repositories such as GitHub or GitLab.
