Job Summary: We are seeking a Linux Administrator for the night shift, responsible for managing, configuring, and resolving incidents on Linux systems and virtualization environments. Key Highlights: 1. Proficient in Linux systems and manage virtual environments with VMware and Oracle VM. 2. Efficiently administer users, processes, disks, networks, and services. 3. Create and migrate virtual machines without interruption. **Description:** ---------------- We’re looking for nocturnal penguin heroes! At Infortec, we’re searching for a Linux Administrator (Night Shift)—yes, those who talk to servers while the rest of the world sleeps, and know that “everything is fine” is actually suspicious. **Your mission (if you choose to accept it):** Tame Linux systems (Red Hat, Oracle Linux): install them, configure them, and when they rebel, bring them back into line. Govern virtual realms with VMware ESXi, vCenter, VRA, SRM, and Oracle VM (yes, you’ll have more control than in The Sims—but with fewer ladderless pools). Handle incidents, requests, and changes—and survive to document them in operational manuals. Fine-tune systems until they perform better than you do after a 3 a.m. coffee. Administer users, processes, disks, networks, and services without losing your sanity (or at least without showing it). Apply patches and updates (because nothing says “good night” like a well-executed reboot). Write Bash scripts that work magic… or at least run correctly on the first try (or the third—let’s be realistic). Manage storage (LVM, NFS, RAID, SAN…) as effortlessly as your favorite playlist. Create and migrate virtual machines without anyone noticing the “teleportation”. **What We Offer:** Permanent contract with Infortec Consultores 100% remote work mode (work in pajamas—we won’t judge) Initial training of at least 3 months in Madrid (yes, you’ll need to see daylight at the beginning) Exclusively night shift: ideal if your biological clock runs independently—or if you’ve long suspected you’re a bat If this interests you… apply now. We promise not to reboot without notice
