Functional Data Analyst

We are seeking a **Functional Data Analyst** to join our team in **Madrid, with a hybrid work model for occasional in-person meetings**. The selected candidate will participate in initiatives related to data governance, data quality, and information exploitation, collaborating with various teams to define functional requirements, manage priorities, and ensure the proper implementation of data-oriented solutions. Therefore, we promote an environment where every professional can develop, contribute new ideas, and participate in impactful regional and global projects. **Responsibilities** * Lead, together with Product Ownership, various workflows related to data governance and data quality * Identify, analyze, and prioritize business needs and functional requirements * Manage the internal backlog, coordinating priorities and execution with involved teams * Prioritize requirements and track progress with external tool vendors * Validate implemented functionalities and ensure alignment with defined requirements * Design, review, and validate dashboards, metrics, and KPIs, as well as provide support during testing, incident resolution, and follow-up activities **Requirements** * Professional experience: minimum 2 years in a corporate environment * Prior experience in data-related areas * Knowledge of data governance tools * Experience with Agile methodologies and use of Jira and Confluence * Familiarity with data exploitation and visualization tools, preferably Power BI * Proficiency in SQL * Knowledge of Python or other programming languages * Knowledge of Azure Databricks * Advanced level of English * Professional level of Spanish **Nice to have** * Experience in incident management and solution tracking * Experience in defining and monitoring KPIs * Strong analytical and organizational skills * Proactive mindset to contribute to high-quality product development * Experience coordinating meetings, committees, and user presentations **We offer** * • Indefinite-term contract with competitive salary• Flexible work model and possibility of remote work• Personalized career plan and continuous training• Participation in stable projects with strong technical components• Flexible working hours and focus on work-life balance• Social benefits tailored to your needs
