**Position: Facilities Engineer (Ingeniero de Instalaciones / Mantenimiento de Infraestructuras)** **Department:** Administration / EHS / General Affairs **Reports to:** HR \& Administration Manager (Spain) **Location:** Linares, Jaén **Main Purpose of the Role:** To ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all plant facilities and utilities (building, HVAC, compressed air, electricity, water, fire systems, and waste management), guaranteeing safety, compliance, and efficiency according to Desay SV global standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage and maintain the building infrastructure, utilities, and technical services of the plant. * Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, and civil systems. * Coordinate with external service providers, contractors, and suppliers (security, cleaning, waste disposal, etc.). * Support EHS in ensuring facility compliance with Spanish legal and corporate standards (electricity, water, air, fire, environment). * Plan and monitor facility improvement projects and expansions (offices, production areas, canteen, warehouse). * Manage the facility budget (energy, maintenance, service contracts). * Support the setup and relocation of production equipment and utilities during NPI or capacity increase phases. * Collaborate with HQ Facilities team to ensure technical alignment and reporting. **Requirements:** * Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial). * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facility management or industrial maintenance, preferably in automotive or manufacturing environment. * Knowledge of Spanish safety and building regulations. * Hands\-on, problem\-solving attitude, capable of managing contractors and maintenance staff. * Intermediate English level (able to communicate with HQ teams). * Chinese language is a plus. **Competencies:** * Technical expertise and safety awareness. * Cost efficiency and project management skills. * Teamwork and cross\-cultural communication. * Proactive and responsible with strong ownership.
