More information about the Institute can be found at: https://software.imdea.org ### **Description** The IMDEA Software Institute is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Research Manager. The Research Manager will be responsible for implementing internal procedures to ensure compliance with all requirements associated with the María de Maeztu grant recently awarded to IMDEA Software. In addition to these tasks, the Research Manager will support the General Manager in a wide range of administrative activities, including managing public tender processes, assisting researchers with travel arrangements, and addressing any other administrative needs that may arise. ### **Tasks** The responsibilities of the selected candidate include, but are not limited to: * Monitoring and supporting public tender processes. * Reviewing and updating internal procedures to ensure alignment with María de Maeztu requirements. * Providing support with staff travel arrangements. * Assisting with the financial monitoring and reporting of the project. * Proactively contributing to any administrative needs that may arise as the project evolves. ### **Requirements** Candidates should meet the following requirements: * M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Administration, Law, or a related discipline. * At least 8 years of proven experience in the administrative department of a research institution. * Knowledge of Spanish Procurement Law (from a procedural standpoint). * Fluency in English and Spanish (speaking, writing, and reading). ### **Additional capabilities** In addition to the above requirements, the following capabilities and knowledge will be considered a plus: * Experience working in an academic or research environment. * Strong ability to meet strict deadlines and work with a goal\-oriented mindset. * Excellent teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with research and technical personnel. * Experience in monitoring and supporting public tender processes. * Familiarity with research environment dynamics. ### **Our offer** We offer a permanent contract.
