At Arteche, we are looking for a Java Backend specialist to join the High Level Software (HLS) team. The selected candidate will participate in development and design activities within the HLS team, engaging with data, business, and presentation layers using Java technologies across multiple group projects. Our purpose is to ensure universal access to clean, efficient, and high-quality energy. **Do you share our energy?** **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop products within the department. * Comply with and improve the product design process, as well as any other procedures within the R\+D\+i department. * Provide technical support to internal and external customers when required, in coordination with product engineers. * Participate in assigned projects (DNP, technical, cost-reduction, or quality-improvement initiatives) by the product line manager. **Requirements:** * Academic background: Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience developing Java 8 applications; experience developing GUI applications using Swing or JavaFX. * Additional skills: + Experience developing backend APIs (REST, Websocket, SOAP, etc.). + Experience developing with JUnit, Spring, Hibernate, Maven. + Experience developing using Jenkins, Sonar, Git, SVN. + Experience or knowledge of Linux or Unix operating systems. + Experience in industrial environment projects and control equipment. * Familiarity with IEC 61850 standard is desirable. * Languages: English B2. * Tools: + Eclipse and/or IntelliJ. + MySQL and/or PostgreSQL clients. + OxygenXML proficiency is desirable.
