DESCRIPTION At **SIRT**, we have been leading telecom sector projects nationwide for over 26 years. We are seeking to hire a Security Technician for an end-client service in **Barcelona**, as part of a specialized team focused on the operation and evolution of critical infrastructures. **Your Mission** You will join a technical security team involved in the operation, enhancement, and implementation of cybersecurity solutions within complex enterprise environments. **What will you do on a daily basis?** * Management and operation of security environments (firewalls, proxies, IPS, etc.) * Implementation of changes and improvements to infrastructures * Resolution of incidents and provision of advanced technical support * Participation in security projects * Generation of technical documentation * Coordination with other teams (networks, systems, SOC) **Conditions** * Location: Barcelona (end client) * Schedule: Monday to Friday (split shifts) * Stable project * Start date: September **Why SIRT?** * You will work in real-world, complex technological environments * You will be part of a specialized technical team * You will have opportunities for learning and career growth in cybersecurity **Are you interested?** If you have security experience and wish to continue growing within a demanding technical environment, we want to meet you! ***Apply directly or send your CV via private message*** REQUIREMENTS **Requirements** * IT security experience (approximately 3–5 years) * Experience operating firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, or similar) * Networking knowledge (intermediate-level routing & switching) * Experience in operational or technical support environments * Ability to work collaboratively and in dynamic environments * A university degree or equivalent is mandatory **Desirable (non-exclusive) knowledge** * SIEM (Splunk or others) * IDS/IPS, web filtering, DNS * SOC environments / incident management * Cloud security (Azure, AWS, M365) * WAF, proxies, or secure browsing solutions **Highly desirable** * Security or networking certifications (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point, etc.) * Experience with vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, F5 * Prior experience with end clients or managed services
