**Goods Receiving Controller** -------------------------------------------- We are Europe's fastest-growing non-food discount retail chain and operate a rapidly expanding logistics network comprising 20 distribution centers across the Netherlands, France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy, and Slovakia. In June 2025, we will open our first distribution center in Spain (Illescas, Toledo) to further accelerate our growth in the Iberian market. Now, we take another step forward by opening a new distribution center in Banyeres del Penedès, Tarragona. **Your Mission** ------------- The Goods Receiving Controller is part of the Goods Receiving and Placement department, reporting directly to the department’s Team Lead. Your daily responsibilities include ensuring truck loading safety, unloading goods using an electric pallet truck, and verifying the quality and quantity of incoming goods at the distribution center. Your role aims to guarantee that all incoming products are processed swiftly and accurately to maintain efficient operational flow, support the supply chain, and uphold the company’s safety, quality, and operational standards. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * **Goods unloading:** operate loading and unloading equipment to ensure agile and safe truck reception. * **Quality and quantity control:** physically inspect and compare received goods on pallets against system records and documentation, identifying quality or quantity discrepancies (e.g., possible damage or irregularities), using IT tools and scanning devices. * **Incident management:** report any anomalies, defective goods, or quantity discrepancies to the assigned department, providing detailed descriptions and photos where necessary. * **Maintenance and safety:** comply with occupational health and safety regulations (HSE), keeping unloading areas clean and clear. **Our Values** -------------------- * Customer orientation * Cost awareness * Teamwork * Discipline * Simplicity * Respect **Requirements** -------------- * Electric pallet truck operator certificate or license. * Demonstrable experience: minimum 1–2 years in quality control or similar roles. * Ability to work in dynamic environments requiring attention to detail, operational accuracy, and adherence to demanding work rhythms. * Safety awareness, attention to detail, rigor, communication skills, dynamism, and proactivity. * Preferred: experience using radio-frequency terminals (scanning guns) and warehouse management systems (WMS). **Terms and Benefits** ---------------------------- * Permanent contract * Collective agreement salary: €23.331,75 Gross Annual Salary paid in 12 installments. * 15% discount on Action products. * Life and Accident Insurance.
