To strengthen our *Global Information Technology* department, we are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of **Odoo Solution Architect (m/w/d)** =================================== We love enjoyment—and create smart processes through innovative technology. ### **What You Will Drive With Us** * Greenfield rollout architect: You will design our new Odoo landscape from scratch, ensuring the solution is performant, maintainable, and scalable—always prioritizing standard functionality and thoughtfully selecting add-ons. * Governance & standards: You define architectural guardrails. You ensure adherence to the "Clean Core" philosophy and prevent unnecessary complexity through clear governance for configurations and extensions. * Integration orchestrator: You own the interface strategy (API-based) and ensure Odoo integrates seamlessly into our broader data landscape. * Agile enabler: You serve as the technical lead behind our Odoo launch. You support the pilot phase, advise business departments on process design, and lay the foundation for a future expert team. * Product ownership: You treat Odoo as a long-term product—not a one-off project. You develop a roadmap aligned with our business requirements while preserving the standard upgrade path. * Mentoring & team building: You are the first building block of our Odoo team. You guide its professional development, establish code reviews and best practices, and mentor future team members. * Business travel: Occasional trips to European locations are part of your role—we remain grounded throughout. ### **What You Bring** * Experience: You possess solid experience in Odoo architecture and have supported multiple implementations. You understand the strengths of the standard, and know when an add-on is appropriate—and when it is not. * Architectural mindset: You think in terms of system landscapes. API management and clean data integration are second nature to you. * Mindset: You combine "agile pioneering spirit" with "entrepreneurial judgment." You are able to drive Odoo forward agilely within a traditionally conservative environment—without compromising stability or governance. * Odoo expertise: You master the standard and the Odoo framework (Python/XML/JS) well enough to not only design the architecture but also reliably assess the quality of external or internal development work. * Upgrade mindset: You design architectures with future versions in mind. You know how to build extensions that avoid "pain points" during Odoo version upgrades. * Communication: You are a confident point of contact for both business and IT teams.
