Job Summary: We are seeking a Product Owner specialized in tax or labor products to lead the complete redefinition of these products toward a modern architecture, working side by side with the technical team. Description We are collaborating with a technology company undergoing full modernization following the acquisition of two new software solutions integrated into its product pipeline. We are looking for a **Product Owner** specialized in **tax products** and/or **labor products**. Your mission will be to lead the **complete redefinition** of these products and transition them to a modern architecture, working side by side with the technical team. **Responsibilities** * Define the functional vision of the tax or labor product, depending on your specialization. * Prioritize features and explain to the technical team their real impact on business and users. * Become the internal reference for regulations, processes, and case-specific scenarios in the tax and/or labor domain. * Work hand-in-hand with the development team to build an entirely new product (no legacy, no patches). * Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain roadmap direction and ensure alignment. * Translate regulatory requirements and functional needs into clear, actionable specifications. * Actively participate in backlog refinements, epic definition, and user story creation. Basic Requirements * Solid experience in Product Owner roles. * Experience and knowledge working with tax and/or labor products: payroll, social security, personal income tax (IRPF), taxes, advisory firm processes, or HR department workflows. * Experience working with technical teams. * Preferred background in: Labor Relations, Business Sciences, Finance / Taxation. * Strong prioritization skills, product vision, and deep understanding of how labor or tax processes actually function. * Highly desirable experience with professional software such as: A3, Logisoft, Sage, etc. Desired Requirements * A strategic project with high impact: **complete product reconstruction from scratch**. * Join a modern technical environment with strong growth ambitions and commitment to excellence. * A role with real autonomy and direct influence on functional decisions. * Competitive salary package based on experience. * Hybrid work model (2 days per week in office – Barcelona). 40\.000€\-50\.000€ Barcelona Hybrid **Contact Person:** smirete@q\-techrec.com 682 701 254
