It is an offer from the YOUTH IN PRACTICE PROGRAM: Essential requirements: a) A university degree in Tourism is required, with knowledge of the tourism sector and its regulation, public management, and administrative knowledge, communication skills, digital competencies, analytical and research capacity, etc. b) Be registered in the National Youth Guarantee System Register as a beneficiary. c) Be registered at the corresponding Employment Office of the Catalan Public Employment Service as unemployed jobseekers (DONO). d) Capacity to formalize a training employment contract for the purpose of obtaining professional practice at the time of signing. e) Hold a university degree. • Assist and support technical and senior inspection staff in carrying out ex-post control functions regarding Tourist Use Housing (HUT) activities and disciplinary matters. • Carry out analysis, maintenance, and exploitation of the municipal HUT database, including diagnosis of non-compliances and cross-checking against official records. • Actively monitor Online Tourism Platforms (OTAs) to detect potential infringements, such as absence of the NIRTC, advertising room rentals, or over-occupancy. • Coordinate and conduct benchmarking with other local and regional administrations to exchange models and best practices in managing and processing sanctioning proceedings. • Propose, design, and collaborate in implementing awareness-raising and civic information campaigns on legal obligations related to HUTs. • Draft the preliminary technical proposal for adapting municipal regulations to define tourism use compatibility, in compliance with Decree-Law 3/2023 and other applicable legislation. • Assist and accompany inspection staff during on-site verifications (scheduled and unscheduled) to check the habitability certificate, maximum occupancy, and other requirements. • Draft technical supporting documentation, including inspection reports, verification reports, and proposals for initiation agreements (prior information procedure) or commencement of sanctioning proceedings. • Provide administrative and technical support in processing sanctioning procedures and proceedings for restoration of legality. Carry out administrative follow-up and archiving of proceedings aimed at restoring violated legality and of imposed sanctions, in accordance with the Tourism Law and the Right to Housing Law.
