Description

This position involves carrying out essential support operations for the daily functioning of a warehouse. The incumbent must strictly comply with all established regulations regarding Occupational Risk Prevention, Quality, Hygiene, Food Safety, as well as environmental protocols. The primary objective is to ensure that logistics activities proceed smoothly, safely, and efficiently, contributing to overall workplace order and productivity. Daily responsibilities include operating assigned equipment—such as forklifts—with constant supervision of their proper functioning. It is essential to identify, report, and resolve any anomalies arising in machinery to prevent disruptions. Additionally, materials must be loaded and unloaded, carefully verifying that quantities and products match the documentation provided by carriers, thereby ensuring accuracy in goods movement. Other key responsibilities include placing and relocating products according to established storage criteria, while keeping all required documentation up to date. Order and cleanliness must be maintained across workspaces, facilities, forklifts, and tools. Preparing orders for subsequent loading or storage, along with performing stock management controls in accordance with defined procedures, are fundamental tasks for maintaining inventory integrity and operational efficiency. The offered contract is temporary and is executed directly by the contracting company. The workplace is located in the South Tenerife area, specifically in the Las Chafiras zone. Employment conditions will be governed by the collective agreement applicable to the sector. A minimum educational requirement is Medium-Level Vocational Training (FP Grado Medio) or High School (Bachillerato). Possession of a forklift operator license compliant with UNE 58451 standard is mandatory and will be highly valued. At least one year of prior experience in a warehouse environment is required, demonstrating competence in basic logistics operations.
