This is your opportunity to join our Occupational Center team as an Educational Technical Assistant at our center located in La Roca del Vallès. What is our mission? The Vallès Oriental Foundation (FVO) is a non-profit social entity that, for 60 years, has dedicated its efforts to enhancing the quality of life of people with functional diversity and safeguarding their rights as individuals. We serve them in two main areas: the Day Services area (Occupational Center) and the Residential Care area, aiming to meet their diverse needs throughout life while promoting their social inclusion and personal autonomy. From a Person-Centered Care perspective, the functions and responsibilities of the Occupational Monitor Assistant are: * Provide necessary support to the Direct Care Monitor of the Occupational Therapy Service for those service users with greater impairment and higher care needs, in order to foster the development of group members as adults and maximize their autonomy. * Create a supportive human environment to help adults with disabilities overcome adaptation and developmental difficulties, enhancing their autonomy and capabilities. * Coordinate with members of the Occupational Therapy Service’s technical and direct care team. ### **Requirements** Education: Higher Vocational Training Certificate in Social Integration; or similar studies in the social field. Specialized training in supporting adults with intellectual disabilities will be valued. Professional experience, academic internships, or volunteering: minimum of 1 year supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities. Skills: Responsible, dynamic, and receptive person with active and empathetic listening skills, conflict resolution ability, tolerance and flexibility, capacity to work in a team, and respectfulness. Personal vehicle required to reach the workplace located in La Roca del Vallès ### **Offer** Contract type: Long-term temporary contract with potential for permanent position. Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 17:30. 1 hour for lunch. From July 1 to July 31 and September 1 to September 14: Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 16:00. 30 minutes for lunch.
