Description
The position involves performing core logistics and warehouse management tasks within an industrial environment. The primary responsibility is operating specialized machinery for loading, unloading, and internal transportation of goods. This includes using various types of forklifts—such as counterbalanced, reach, and trilateral models—as well as electric pallet trucks, to move pallets and containers efficiently and safely. Duties range from receiving goods to correctly placing them within storage systems. A key part of the job is stacking and positioning pallets on high-rise racking systems, strictly adhering to stability and safety protocols to prevent accidents. Additionally, the operator is responsible for supplying different areas of the plant—transporting raw materials to production lines or delivering goods to order-picking zones—to ensure continuous workflow. Basic inspection and maintenance of assigned equipment also form part of daily responsibilities. This requires conducting pre-use checks on each forklift, verifying fuel or battery levels, brake condition, and hydraulic system functionality. Any anomalies or malfunctions detected must be immediately reported to the relevant department for prompt resolution. Compliance with occupational health and safety regulations is an absolute priority. The operator must consistently follow internal traffic safety rules established in the industrial facility and ensure load stability during handling and transport. The role demands high concentration, precise movement control, and a firm commitment to safety procedures to protect both personal integrity and that of colleagues and equipment.
The initial contract is temporary, lasting six months, with potential extension based on performance and production needs. Working hours follow rotating shifts covering morning, afternoon, and night shifts, Monday through Sunday, with legally mandated rest periods. The initial gross annual salary is set at 23\.000 euros, plus a variable component. After a training and adaptation period, there is potential for internal promotion to Production Operator, with a gross annual salary reaching 26\.720 euros plus variables. The company provides role-specific initial training and an onboarding support plan.
It is essential to hold a Vocational Training qualification in fields such as Robotics, Automotive Engineering, Mechanics, Electricity, or related disciplines, along with a valid official forklift operator license. At least two years of demonstrable prior experience in a similar role operating this type of machinery is required. Candidates should value working in dynamic industrial environments, demonstrate responsibility, commitment, and rapid learning ability. Strong teamwork adaptability and full schedule flexibility to cover rotating shifts are fundamental.
