An established meat-processing company in the La Garrotxa region, specializing in the production, slicing, and packaging of meat products, is hiring **3 maintenance electromechanics** to strengthen its team. This is not a plant where you will spend your entire day working on a single machine. Equipment includes slicers, packaging machines, heat sealers, formers, conveyor belts, metal detectors, refrigeration lines, and auxiliary equipment. We seek versatile professionals proficient in both electrical and mechanical systems, capable of troubleshooting and resolving issues on the production floor—even while the line is stopped. We are filling **three positions—one per fixed shift**: morning, afternoon, and night. Shift assignment will be based on your preference and availability, with no rotation. What will your role be? * Corrective and preventive maintenance of production lines: slicers, packaging machines, heat sealers, formers, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment. * Diagnosis and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures. * Rapid intervention during line stoppages to minimize downtime. * Format changeovers and machine setup in coordination with production. * Support for industrial refrigeration installations and general plant services. * Recording of all interventions in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). * Work conducted in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards specific to the sector. What profile are we seeking? * Training in electromechanics, electricity, industrial maintenance, or related fields (Vocational Training Level 2 / Level 3). * Prior experience in industrial maintenance within a production environment. * Demonstrable competence in **both** electrical **and** mechanical domains—we are not seeking electricians only nor mechanics only. * Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. * Autonomy to diagnose and resolve failures on the shop floor without constant supervision. * Availability to work on a fixed shift—morning, afternoon, or night. The following will be especially valued: * Experience in the food or meat-processing industry. * Prior work with slicers, vacuum packaging machines, or heat sealers. * PLC diagnostic-level knowledge (Siemens / Omron). * Basic understanding of industrial refrigeration. * Stainless-steel welding skills. * Food handler’s certificate.
