Job Summary: Ensure compliance with regulated parking (ORA) regulations by performing surveillance, control, citizen assistance, and reporting to guarantee proper contract operation. Purpose of the Position** Ensure compliance with regulated parking (ORA) regulations in the assigned area by carrying out surveillance, control, citizen assistance, and reporting activities. Directly contributes to proper contract operation and to the quality of service delivered to the City Council and end users. **2\. Key Responsibilities** **Public Space Surveillance and Control** * Verify correct use of regulated parking spaces, ensuring compliance with tariffs, operating hours, and parking conditions. * Detect violations and issue reports in accordance with established procedures. **Parking Management from Visual Car Vehicle** * Perform parking control tasks from the vehicle equipped with the Visual Car system, ensuring accurate reading, verification, and supervision of license plates in regulated zones. **Citizen Assistance** * Inform users about regulations, tariffs, operating hours, and the functioning of parking meters or mobile applications. * Address basic inquiries and escalate complex issues to the appropriate responsible person. **Equipment and Systems Monitoring** * Monitor the status of parking meters and report malfunctions. * Collaborate with technical staff to facilitate repairs or replacements. **Operational Management and Reporting** * Record daily activities in the system: movements, incidents, issued reports, areas patrolled. * Report irregularities or problems detected in public spaces (e.g., deteriorated signage, obstructions, etc.). * Participate in public space studies of both regulated and non-regulated zones. **Commercial Management** * Support commercial initiatives and inform users about available products and services. **3\. Internal and External Relationships** * **Internal:** Inspectors, Contract Supervisor, administrative and technical staff. * **External:** Citizens, Local Police, City Council. **4\. Professional Competencies** * Citizen orientation and clear communication. * Attention to detail. * Organization and time management. * Problem solving and response to incidents. * Teamwork. * Proficiency with technological devices (PDA, apps). **5\. Position Requirements** **Education** * Compulsory Secondary Education or equivalent. **Experience** * Experience in customer service or similar roles (desirable). **Knowledge** * Proficiency with mobile tools and control systems. * Basic knowledge of municipal regulations (not mandatory; training provided). **Other Requirements** * Valid Class B driving license. * Willingness to work outdoors. * Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately. * Residence within the contract area is mandatory. **6\. Position Conditions** * Operational position under the ORA agreement. * Full-time schedule with shifts as defined by the local agreement. * Temporary contract. * 100% outdoor work in public spaces. * Direct reporting to the **Inspector** and the **Contract Supervisor**. * Statutory rest periods. * Salary according to collective agreement.
