Participation in global projects and user support An IT services cooperative based in Barcelona is seeking a SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR. Minimum prior experience and/or knowledge of 7 months in systems and programming. Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Physics. Permanent contract. Full-time (37\.5 hours) schedule from 9\-14h and 15\-17:30h. Gross monthly salary (12 payments): €2026\.5. Candidates must meet the requirements set forth in Article 5\.1 of Resolution EMT/3278/2025, dated 29 August, which opens the 2025 call for grants to support employment contracts for people in situations of heightened vulnerability (SOC\-CONTRACTACIÓ) (Ref. BDNS 854452\). The candidate must be an unemployed job seeker. Tasks: Perform SysAdmin duties managing servers running GNU/Linux (Debian) with Docker and virtualization using KVM; carry out DevOps activities and some development tasks. Use Git and perform programming development in PHP, Python, and/or JavaScript. Interact with end users to provide guidance on using SomNúvol tools. Participate in internal project meetings as well as meetings with other entities across Catalonia, Spain, and worldwide. Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Physics. Knowledge of SysAdmin and DevOps, plus ability to undertake some development tasks. Minimum 7 months’ experience and/or knowledge in systems and programming. Specifically: systems administration, server management using GNU/Linux (Debian) with Docker and virtualization with KVM; experience with Git; programming knowledge in C, PHP, Python, and/or JavaScript. Language proficiency required: Catalan (advanced spoken and written), Spanish (advanced spoken and written), English (intermediate spoken and written). Must be flexible within the team regarding task distribution and execution of common cooperative duties. * 7 months’ experience.
