Sales can be made through numerous wholesale and distribution channels or directly to end user companies within the coffee, foodservice, hospitality, convenience and office sectors within a defined territory. The successful candidate is the face of Marco at various events and key customers. **Reporting to**: Commercial Director **Location:** EU (Excluding UK and Ireland) **Key Responsibilities:** · **New Customer Acquisition** \- Identifying new sales opportunities, profiling their commercial opportunity, and closing the deal · **Existing Customer Growth** \- Retaining existing customers and developing turnover in line with sales forecasts and targets · **Market Strategy** \- Understanding the market dynamic and developing strategy to capitalize on new opportunities · **Pipeline Management** – Manage opportunity pipeline within Hubspot CRM · **Teamwork** \- Working with key internal and external team members to define and develop the products and solutions in demand · **Product Demonstrations** \- Setting up and leading customer demonstrations and training · **Represent Marco** \- Representing the Marco brand in line with company culture · **Trade Shows \& Events** \- Attending relevant trade shows and events to network effectively and increase brand awareness **The Individual** The core values of Marco are passion, innovation, care, knowledge, and integrity. Previous experience in the coffee, water or beverage industry will be an advantage as success will rely on the ability to understand the motivations that drive customer buying habits within both the distribution, wholesale and end user channels. Additionally, the ability to source new commercial opportunities either within key end users or growing and emerging segments is preferred. The ability to prioritize commercial opportunities, network freely and to move leads quickly from interest to sale is an important aspect of the role. Strong time management skills and the ability to manage a busy pipeline effectively must be evidenced. A proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets with demonstrable year\-on\-year growth within previous sales roles is therefore a must. **Requirements:** · A proven ability to close sales to predetermined targets · A knowledge of the coffee, water and/or craft beverage industry highly preferred · A knowledge of water and/or coffee equipment, a plus · Experience in managing key accounts · A proven track record for winning new commercial business · Self\-motivated and able to work with a high degree of autonomy · Highly organized in order to meet multiple deadlines · Frequent (up to 50%) travel for client meetings, team meetings and events is required **Preferred Qualifications:** * Candidates residing in/near major market highly preferred * Familiarity with Marco Beverage Systems’ product line. * Prior experience supporting or representing a brand at tradeshows or customer events. **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Paid time off and holidays. * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities. * A collaborative and inclusive work environment.
