Job Description We are seeking a meticulous and analytically skilled accounting and finance technician to join our team at SO/ Sotogrande in Sotogrande, Spain. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting various accounting functions. * Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and other accounting reports. * Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting. * Reconcile bank statements and perform month-end closing procedures. * Ensure compliance with Spanish accounting standards and regulations. * Collaborate with other departments to collect financial data and provide information. * Support internal and external audits. * Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures. * Analyze financial data to identify trends and make improvement recommendations. * Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. * Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools. * Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems. * Solid knowledge of Spanish accounting standards and regulations. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. * Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. * Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
