We are seeking a **Civil Works Supervisor** specialized in the construction of water treatment plants to join our technical team and work on the construction project of a Wastewater Treatment Plant\-Drinking Water Treatment Plant (WWTP\-DWTP) in l'Ampolla, within the Ebro Delta (Tarragona). **What will be your mission?** Your primary mission will be to ensure the correct on-site execution of the construction plan established by the Site Manager, strictly adhering to the company's policies, procedures, budgets, and deadlines. **Your main responsibilities:** * Operational Management and Execution: Direct and supervise on-site earthworks, foundations, and reinforced concrete structures (reservoirs, clarifiers, biological reactors, technical buildings), ensuring compliance with the construction plan. * Personnel and Equipment Management: Lead and organize in-house and subcontracted work teams, promoting effective management of work fronts. * Coordination with Installations: Coordinate civil works execution with mechanical, electrical, and process installation teams (pipelines, valves, electromechanical equipment) typical of a water treatment plant, ensuring compatibility between civil works and installations. * Supplier and Materials Coordination: Manage the receipt and on-site storage of pipes, special fittings, and aggregates, ensuring compliance with project specifications and minimizing losses. * Quality Control: Ensure quality control of concrete works (tests, test specimens) and proper execution and waterproofing of reservoirs and water-retaining structures. * Safety and Occupational Risk Prevention (OHS): Ensure strict compliance with Occupational Risk Prevention (OHS) regulations. * On-site Relations: Maintain smooth communication with Site Management, Safety Coordinators, and inspectors. **What profile are we looking for?** Education: A Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Construction or Civil Engineering is desirable. Completion of the Basic Occupational Risk Prevention (OHS) course (Preventive Resource) and the OHS course for Intermediate Supervisors is mandatory. Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction and civil engineering sector, including at least 3 years specifically as a Civil Works Supervisor. Experience in constructing WWTPs, DWTPs, or other water treatment plants will be highly valued. Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reinforced concrete structures, formwork systems, reservoir waterproofing, construction of inspection wells and manholes, and specialized machinery for earthmoving and excavation. Skills and Competencies: Aptitude for methodology and order, results orientation, and strong planning and organizational abilities.
