### **Job Information** Date Opened **09/25/2025**Job Type **Permanent**Industry **Engineering**Work Experience **5\+ years**City **Tarragona**State/Province **Tarragona (Tarragona)**Country **Spain**Zip/Postal Code **43001**### **Job Description** At ALOVIA, we are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor for one of our clients in the Oil \& Gas sector in Tarragona. **Position Mission** Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mechanical equipment and facilities in the petrochemical plant by supervising technical personnel and coordinating preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities in accordance with the company's safety, quality, and environmental standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Supervise and coordinate the mechanical technicians team in maintenance tasks for static and rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, piping, valves, etc.). * Ensure compliance with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans. * Monitor adherence to industrial safety, environmental, and quality regulations during work execution. ### **Requirements** **Position Requirements** * Academic Qualifications: * Higher vocational training in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechanical Engineering. * Additional training in reliability, welding, pressure equipment inspection, or similar fields is valued. * Experience: * Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within heavy industry (preferably chemical, petrochemical, refining, or energy sectors). * Proven experience in team supervision and contractor management. * Technical Knowledge: * Rotating and static equipment typical of petrochemical plants. * Applicable regulations: API, ASME, PED, ATEX. * Predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonics). * Microsoft Office, SAP PM, or other computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
