




**About the Role** Responsible for the development and maintenance of production systems across various machines and lines in the plant (Proficy, Plain, SAP, etc.). Also responsible for compliance with the plant's OT regulations, participating in relevant audits and collaborating closely with machinery suppliers and central network teams to ensure remote connections. Leads continuous process improvement through PLC programming projects, migration of obsolete equipment, and new installations. Acts as support for various management teams in implementing system changes and in end-user training. If you identify with this vision, we would love to meet you. **Key Responsibilities** * Solve process issues through PLC programming. * Facilitate the transition towards an Industrial 4\.0 environment. * Lead electrical/electronic obsolescence projects for our machinery. * Proactively maintain and develop all necessary applications for optimal operation of line and machine production systems. * Work towards the goal of zero failures and zero production stoppages, as well as reducing maintenance costs. * Train end-users on various systems. * Implement "Best Practices" relevant to the role within production and maintenance operations. * Identify opportunities to improve or even create new methods, processes, or tools. **Who You Are** * Degree in Systems/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar * Experience in a similar position will be valued * Ability to develop applications in M365 environment * Proficiency in programming languages (C\#, Visual Basic, KOP, AWL …) and database management * Fluent English * Teamwork skills * Fast learning ability * Project leadership capability * Ability to train people (at all levels) * Significant experience operating multi-functional equipment. * Motivating attitude, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently **What We Offer** At Essity, we believe that every career is as unique as the individual and that employees can reach their full potential in a winning culture driven by a powerful purpose.
