**MAIS Programme Vocational Counsellor** **For the centre located in Barcelona** **Fundació Gentis** is a non-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing **employability** and fostering **competency-based, emotional, and social development** among the most disadvantaged groups. At Gentis, we drive the mechanism for achieving **full social inclusion**, through community action, training, mentoring, mediation, family support, and psychological and therapeutic intervention. ##### **As a Vocational Counsellor at Gentis...** You will have the opportunity to: **Carry out actions aimed at facilitating the labour market integration of unemployed individuals** * Conduct diagnostics, provide information, personalised vocational guidance, and counselling * Motivate and accompany individuals throughout their labour integration process * Promote training initiatives to improve their employability * Support individuals facing difficulties in securing employment * Enhance their employability and facilitate both entry into and retention within the workplace ##### **What will your responsibilities be?** * **Welcoming participants**, including individual and group activities, occupational diagnostics, and identification of competencies * **Promoting labour integration and job retention**, by defining professional objectives and individualised pathways, and accompanying participants in their job search * **Mediating between supply and demand**, maintaining relationships with companies, identifying suitable job offers, and managing internships and visits to productive environments * **Evaluating employability improvement pathways**, through personalised follow-up, programme indicators, and satisfaction assessments * **Management and coordination**, including activity registration, report preparation, and coordination with local teams and stakeholders * **Cross-cutting tasks**, supporting other programmes, fostering internal synergies, and collaborating in the dissemination of activities **Competency Profile** * Learning and applying knowledge * Emotional management * Communication * Self-work organisation and planning * Creativity * Teamwork ##### **What are the requirements?** Minimum qualification: Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in the Social Sector, or degree in Psychology, Pedagogy, or Psychopedagogy Alternatively, minimum 5 years’ experience in vocational guidance Familiarity with the local area Experience in vocational guidance programmes and management tools (Galileu) Staff involved in vocational guidance and outreach must hold training on gender perspective, aiming to guarantee labour integration free from sexist stereotypes and aligned with the competency-based employability model. ##### **We offer** 1 permanent full-time position (100%) **Working hours**: Monday to Friday, 8:00–15:00, plus one afternoon shift (37.5 hours/week). ️ Intensive summer schedule (8:00–15:30) 1 hybrid working day per week. **Position category**: Mid-level Technical Staff – **€25,518.86 gross annual salary** **Start date**: Immediate ##### **Join our team and enjoy unique benefits!** At Fundació Gentis, we care for our team as much as we care for the people we serve.
