At **VerdNatura**, a leading wholesale distributor of flowers and plants, we are seeking an **Industrial and Automation Projects Engineer** for our Engineering Department at the Algemesí (Valencia) logistics center. We are looking for a multidisciplinary, solution-oriented candidate with a strong willingness to learn, capable of progressively taking ownership of full projects—from initial conception through to commissioning. This role combines automation, electricity, energy, installations, and technical project management. Mastery of all areas from day one is not required: we especially value a solid technical foundation, strong learning ability, and enthusiasm for professional growth. **What will your responsibilities be?** * **Automation:** End-to-end industrial automation project development (solution design, PLC and HMI programming, equipment integration, and commissioning). * **Energy and Electricity:** Participation in electrical and energy projects (self-consumption installations, battery storage systems, low-voltage installations, and optimization of existing facilities). * **Infrastructure:** Collaboration on facility expansions, new constructions, and plant modifications. * **Technical Management:** Coordination with suppliers, external engineering firms, contractors, and internal staff. * **Project Monitoring:** Project oversight to ensure timely delivery and achievement of objectives. * **Documentation:** Review of drawings, quotations, technical reports, electrical schematics, and other technical documentation. * **Continuous Improvement:** Incident resolution and identification of practical solutions to optimize processes and installations. **What profile are we seeking?** * **Education:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Electronic, Electrical, or Automatic Engineering—or a related field. * **Technical Foundation:** Strong ability to understand industrial installations and processes. * **Skills:** Initiative, organizational ability, hands-on orientation, and results-driven mindset. * **Teamwork:** Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and plant personnel. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of industrial automation and PLC/HMI programming. * Knowledge of industrial and low-voltage electricity. * Experience or interest in photovoltaic installations, energy storage, and energy efficiency. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics (AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools). * Prior experience in commissioning installations, machinery, or industrial environments. * Proximity to the workplace (Algemesí). **Offer Conditions** * **Contract Type:** Permanent contract from day one. * **Working Hours:** Full-time. * **Work Mode:** On-site at the Algemesí (Valencia) facilities. * **Salary:** **€24,000 – €30,000 gross annual** (depending on experience and competencies). **What do we offer?** * Integration into the Engineering Department, working on real and highly diverse projects. * Involvement in all project phases—from design through execution and commissioning. * Opportunities to learn and grow in industrial automation, electricity, energy, and installations. * Genuine opportunities for professional growth and increasing autonomy within the company.
