




**Purchasing Manager** ### **The Client** Our client is a **leading company in the food industry**, recognized for its commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. The **Purchasing Manager** will be responsible for **ensuring optimal availability of raw materials, packaging, and services** required for production, always securing the best conditions in terms of **quality, cost, delivery times, and sustainability**. Additionally, they will lead the procurement strategy and play a key role in the company's **supply chain optimization**. ### **Responsibilities** #### **Supplier Management** * Negotiate with national and international suppliers to ensure the best conditions regarding quality, price, service, and on-time delivery. * Evaluate, qualify, and monitor supplier performance. * Develop long-term strategic relationships with key business partners. #### **Purchasing Planning and Control** * Develop and execute the annual purchasing plan in coordination with Production, Logistics, and Quality departments. * Ensure material availability according to planning and production needs. * Manage inventories and optimize stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. #### **Analysis and Continuous Improvement** * Analyze costs, margins, and market price trends. * Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities across the entire supply chain. * Implement purchasing procedures and policies focused on **transparency, traceability, and operational efficiency**. #### **Administrative and Contractual Management** * Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts and framework agreements. * Supervise proper documentation management of orders, invoices, and deliveries. #### **Sustainability and Quality** * Collaborate with the Quality department on certification and regulatory compliance of purchased products. * Promote **responsible and sustainable procurement practices** aligned with the company’s values. ### **Requirements** **Education:** * University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related field. **Experience:** * Minimum **3 years of experience** in similar roles within industrial environments, preferably in the **food industry**. **Technical Skills:** * Contract negotiation and management. * Cost control and financial analysis. * Advanced Excel proficiency and ERP system experience (SAP is a plus). **Languages:** * Fluent English (B2/C1 level).
