Job Summary: We are seeking an Operations Technician to ensure container rotation and guarantee their availability, by preparing stowage plans, supervising operations, and resolving incidents. Be part of a global maritime company with a historic track record **Operations Technician \-** **Boluda Shipping** **Location:** Valencia We are looking for an **Operations Technician** to ensure the proper rotation of our containers and guarantee their availability for new cargo. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Prepare stowage plans:** planning container placement considering various factors (weight, cargo type, contents, etc.). * **Supervise the execution of operations** safely and efficiently: monitoring vessel fuel consumption, stock levels, empty containers, etc. * **Review invoicing and manage claims.** * **Resolve incidents.** * **Prepare statistics:** containers discharged onto vessels by equipment type and empty containers loaded. **Requirements:** * A degree in Nautical Science and Maritime Transport is desirable. * At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within shipping companies. * English language proficiency: intermediate\-advanced. * Availability to work weekend shifts. **About Us:** Boluda Maritime Corporation traces its origins back to 1837 with the founding of Naviera Fos, a maritime transport company operating in Mediterranean ports.
