




At Grupo El Castillo, we are opening a selection process to fill an Expedition Manager position at our center located in Benaguacil (Valencia). We are looking for a person who will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the expedition department, including managing the necessary human resources and machinery. Work is carried out on rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday. Among other responsibilities, your duties will include: * Planning and coordination: Develop and execute expedition plans to ensure timely delivery of products. Coordinate with other departments to guarantee efficiency in the expedition process. * Inventory management: Supervise and control inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking. Implement inventory management systems to optimize storage and distribution. * Process optimization: Continuously analyze and improve expedition processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Use advanced tools and technologies for route and delivery time optimization. * Quality control: Ensure that shipped products meet established quality standards. Implement quality control procedures within the expedition process. * Team management: Lead and motivate the expedition team, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous training for the team. Responsibilities: * Supplier and carrier relations: Maintain smooth and effective communication with suppliers and carriers to ensure resource availability and on-time deliveries. * Problem resolution: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the expedition process, such as delays, order errors, and quality problems. * Regulatory compliance: Ensure all expedition activities comply with current regulations and standards. * Stay updated on legislative changes that could affect the expedition process. We value: * Minimum required education: Intermediate or higher degree related to logistics and/or international trade. * In-depth knowledge of the food industry and best practices in expeditions. * Forklift operator license and experience operating forklifts. * Excellent communication skills to interact with suppliers, carriers, and customers. * Ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment. * Capacity to work rotating shifts and adapt to changes in demand and the work environment.
