We are a company representing some of the world’s leading manufacturers of processing and packaging machinery in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food and other industries . Main Purposes of the Job: To provide service engineering, maintenance, customer training and support for customers who operate machines and equipment provided by the company in its sales territory of Spain, Europe, UK and Ireland we are currently looking for an Engineer who has experience in the Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, and food sectors . This role will involve working on customer sites and you may be required to work away from home for up to a week at a time depending on customers location. **“A strong hands\-on electro\-mechanical background is essential, including practical experience with industrial electrical systems, electrical fault finding, sensors, wiring, actuators, and general troubleshooting on customer sites.”** Key Responsibilities: * Provide support to the Service Engineer as directed * Ensure all H\&S procedures are adhered to and required documentation completed * Maintain a routine program of customer support / service engineer visits to current customers to service and maintain installed equipment. * Maintain customer support point of contact with all customers and develop good working customer support relationships. * Maintain customer support records for current customers to provide them with a coherent service record for existing machines. * Develop and maintain strong technical working relationships with the equipment manufacturers. * Provide service engineering reports on completion of each visit. * A service engineering electro\-mechanical background is a pre\-requisite for this role. Ideally, experience in the packaging industry is a pre\-requisite. * A problem solver – to have the ability to analyse the situation. Identify the problems and provide service engineering / customer support solutions. * The ability to build a good working relationship based on the customers confidence in your professional capability. * A good communicator with the ability to accurately record and report issues identified and provide constructive feedback to the equipment manufacturers. * Instruction and training skills to provide the customers with equipment and production process training to improve equipment output. * The ability to produce excel spreadsheets and complete word documents will be required for reports.
