Download Job Description If you have **5 or more years of experience in embedded software development on Linux and/or Android**, integrating software with real hardware and solving complex issues in connected products, at **FERMAX** you will find an environment where **software is part of the product's DNA**, technical decisions **are visible in the market**, and engineering matters as much as innovation. **We offer an indefinite full-time contract.** Hybrid working schedule (3 days onsite + 2 optional remote), Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break and flexibility in start/end times), and Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM. Responsibilities * Collaborate in the design, development, and maintenance of **embedded software** for connected electronic devices, ensuring the quality, robustness, and evolution of our products * Develop embedded software in **C/C++** for microcontrollers and microprocessors * **Design** and implementation of new **firmware** features for digital signal processing * **Integration of software with hardware in telecommunications electronic equipment** * Debugging, validation, and code optimization * Participation in code reviews and architecture definition * Technical documentation and support for other departments (product, validation, manufacturing) Requirements * Academic background in **Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields**. * Proven (5 years) experience in **embedded software development on Linux and/or Android**. * Solid programming knowledge in **C and/or C++**, applied to embedded systems with operating systems. * Experience working with **high-capability microprocessors and SoCs** (e.g., ARM Cortex-A or others). * Knowledge of software integration in embedded Linux/Android environments (toolchains, dependencies, cross-compilation). * Experience with version control tools (**Git**). * Ability to work collaboratively, strong communication skills, and product-oriented mindset.
