




Job Summary: We are seeking a Placement professional to manage quotations, lead market submissions, and coordinate renewals, ensuring competitive placements aligned with client needs. Key Highlights: 1. Manage quotations and analyze technical offers from insurers. 2. Negotiate with insurers to improve terms and coverage. 3. Prior experience in insurance brokerage or an insurer, with a focus on corporate clients. **Description** --------------- The selected candidate will join the Placement team and be responsible for **managing new quotations, leading market submissions, coordinating renewals, and analyzing technical offers** received from insurers. The primary objective of this role is to ensure competitive, technically sound placements that align with client needs and company standards. **Key Responsibilities:** **1\. Quotation and Technical Analysis** * Manage **new quotations**, gathering necessary information from the sales team or the client. * Prepare **technical documentation** to submit to insurers for new business or renewals. * Analyze **received offers**, identifying differences in coverage, exclusions, and financial terms. * Produce clear, accurate, and decision-oriented **technical comparisons**. **2\. Market Submissions** * Coordinate and execute **end-to-end market submissions**, contacting insurers, sending slips or risk summaries, and following up to obtain proposals. * Negotiate with insurers to improve terms, coverage, sub-limits, and premiums where necessary. * Ensure market responses are received within agreed timelines and meet required technical quality standards. **3\. Renewals** * Manage the **renewal process**, from information gathering through to soliciting offers. * Monitor expiry dates, flag critical deadlines, and maintain an updated renewal pipeline. * Prepare final documents and internal/commercial proposals for the business development team. **4\. Operational Coordination with Insurers** * Request technical clarifications, certificates, endorsements, or additional information. * Manage policy issuance, special conditions, premium receipts, and certificates. * Verify that documentation issued by insurers matches the quoted terms and agreed conditions. **5\. Documentation Management and Reporting** * Maintain internal systems up to date with quotation statuses, renewals, received offers, and market activity. * Systematically archive all documentation issued and received throughout the placement process. **Qualifications** ------------------ **Requirements** * Prior experience in insurance brokerage, broking, and/or an insurer, focused on CORPORATE business. * Knowledge of corporate lines: General Liability, Environmental Liability, Property Damage, Transportation, Professional Liability, Cyber, D\&O, TRC, etc. * Ability to interpret policies, analyze coverage, and identify technical differences. * High level of organization and attention to detail. * Proficient use of Excel and management tools. * Languages: Spanish and English. **Key Competencies** * Technical and analytical orientation. * Ability to negotiate and manage multiple insurers simultaneously. * Capacity to work under tight deadlines. * Clear and effective communication with both insurers and internal teams.
