Location: Madrid, MD, ES Professional Profile: D&S Engineering, Mobility and ATM Required Experience: More than 2 years of experience Work Modality: Hybrid **At Indra Group, we protect what matters most.** -------------------------------------------------- We lead the development of cutting-edge technological solutions that reinforce national and international security. **Join our strategic Armament and Defense projects!** As part of our positioning as a leading company in the Defense sector, we seek to incorporate a **Weapons Systems Verification & Qualification Lead Engineer / Verification, Validation and Qualification Lead Engineer for Weapon Systems**, to participate in Indra’s **Weapons** environment, assuming a key role in the **verification, validation and integration of highly complex weapon and missile systems**. **What will you do?** --------------- * Define and lead **verification and validation (V&V)** activities for weapon and missile systems. * Be responsible for **full-system qualification**, covering: + Missile segment (airframe, propulsion, GNC, payload). + Launch segment. + **Command and Control (C2)** segment. + **Datalinks and communications**. * Ensure an **end-to-end system vision**, understanding complex technical interdependencies. * Coordinate and influence **multiple technical teams** without direct hierarchical authority. * Actively participate in **mission system integration**. * Clearly and structurally explain complex system architectures to diverse stakeholders. * Defend technical decisions before **client and management**. * Lead **full-system testing** and advanced integration activities. * Serve as the technical system reference within the project. **What are we looking for in you?** ------------------------ It is not necessary to meet 100% of the requirements. We want to get to know you and understand what you can contribute. ✅ **5–10 years** of experience in **integration, verification and qualification of complex systems**. ✅ Solid knowledge of the **defense sector**, especially weapon and missile systems. ✅ Experience in **system integration** and full-system testing. ✅ Ability to understand and govern **complex end-to-end architectures**. ✅ High **technical credibility** and cross-functional influence capability. ### **Technical Knowledge** * Integration with **mission systems** (advanced level). * **System integration methodologies** (advanced level). ### **Functional Knowledge** * System integration (ATM). * Planning and execution of **full-system testing**. * **System architecture and solutions** in Defense. ✅ Strong technical communication skills and results orientation. ✅ Technical leadership capability without formal authority. ✅ **High-level English**, spoken and written. ✅ Availability to work in **Torrejón de Ardoz**, under a **hybrid modality**. **The Project** --------------- You will join Indra’s **Weapons** team, focused on the development, integration and qualification of **advanced weapon systems**, where system-level vision, inter-segment integration and operational validation are critical success factors.
