Here, we feel empowered, supported, and inspired to grow.* *Are you ready to love your job?* *The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.* *Please note that the Job title on SITA contract for this role will be "***Director Consulting"** *as aligned with our internal career framework.* ***ABOUT THE*** ***ROLE:*** This position is responsible for providing leadership direction and management of a Business Development team, responsible to design, build and deliver MSI (Master System Integration) and ITO (Information Technology Outsourcing) projects to customers in the EURO region, achieving the market growth, strategic financial and client satisfaction objectives. **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * Evolving role, covering from customer engagement and creation of a solution framework based on high level requirements, until the completion of a detailed statement of work. The result might be for MSI the creation of a full\-scope MSI proposal, detailed project plan and resourcing, as well as initiating and overseeing the exectuting the MSI program. For an ITO the result might be the planning and execution of a customer Due Diligence, building a contrete Transition Plan, and initiate and overseeing the execution of the ITO program. * Lead the development and execution of a strategy for the MSI and ITO in line with SITA's strategy and the Business Unit Center of Exellence (CoE) * Develop the consulting portfolio with: * An industry best practice methodology tailored to ATI requirements * A rigorous and structured approach to identify and solve client business problems * An effective selection and management of third party suppliers and partners * Pull\-through generation for SITA products and services * Drive the MSI and ITO business development in collaboration with other internal and external partners (Sales BU Regions product management product marketing others): * Identify key services development opportunities and support their execution * Establish \& implement an effective go to market strategy for consulting portfolio * Develop new opportunities with existing and prospective new clients * Gain closure on consulting sales through effective positioning of offerings directly with customers and through the indirect influence of SRM teams * Support delivery of client work as required * Execute global \& regional initiatives aligned with business and sales strategy * Provide overall leadership and direction for MSI and ITO practice: * Provide thought leadership in ATI and Technical Consulting fields providing strategic thinking to enhance new and existing SITA solutions * Ensure the Consulting practice elevates and broadens client relationships * Coordinate overall staffing plans team building mentoring and continuous development across regions solution lines and central consulting practices * Leads best practice recruiting community building and retention strategies * Ensure consulting engagements meet the highest quality standard * Define and oversee major workstreams — including ownership, work breakdown structures, and organizational change management. * Drive maximum customer value through collaboration with SITA and other service providers. * Begin within Business Development, with the potential to evolve into a Business Unit for MSI and ITO — or to lead the transition to the appointed Business Unit. * Lead key client Consulting Engagements * Responsible for an overlay consulting P\&L and revenue achievement across all SITA consulting activities (10\-15 M$ range in 2010\) reports measurements \& metrics status reports and operations reviews * Directly accountable for staff and expense budgets for the central consulting practice.
