




At **ArcelorMittal Sestao**, we are seeking a **Quality Engineer** for the Quality Department of our plant in Sestao, whose main mission is to ensure the conformity of manufactured products through the proper application of available tools and compliance with established procedures. The main responsibilities of this position are as follows: * Review and validate production conformity using Surface Inspection Systems tools and Level 2 and Level 3 data. * Act as an auditor for processes and critical parameters impacting the quality and conformity of manufactured material. * Coordinate with process areas and other plant departments to maximize operational effectiveness, providing specialized quality advice. * Analyze the quality results of our products to propose corrective, preventive or improvement actions, and participate in continuous improvement working groups applying PDCA/Why-Why. * Manage tasks according to defined priorities, ensuring compliance with established service level agreements. * Record and archive quality documentation in accordance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) standards. * Use A2C Inquiry and WF Management tools to validate coatings for new orders. * Monitor and document internally defined continuous improvement projects. **Requirements**: * Required education: Degree in Chemical/Industrial/Materials Engineering. * Specific training in Materials or Metallurgy will be valued. * At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within Quality, Product or Improvement departments. * Decision-making ability, with a proactive and dynamic approach. * Ability to work effectively in teams. * Skills in negotiation and conflict management, oriented toward constructive solutions. * Strong analytical capability, including proficiency in statistical tools for data interpretation. * Knowledge of quality management and standards (ISO, IATF, PDCA, Why-Why).
