Dynamic work environment and growth opportunities Power BI Developer **POSITION:** Power BI Developer, GAT HOSPITALITY Job Description We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with solid expertise in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query to drive the development, maintenance, and evolution of GAT Hospitality’s corporate visualization and reporting tools. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of data models and dashboards, collaborating closely with business areas (operations, finance, revenue, etc.) and the data/technology team to guarantee that information is reliable, actionable, and consistent. **Reporting Line:** Director of Systems and Technology. Responsibilities **Power BI Dashboard Development:** design, build, and maintain corporate reports and business-oriented dashboards (hotel operations, finance, revenue, commercial, etc.). **Data Modeling:** define star schemas, relationships, hierarchies, date tables, incremental refresh, cardinality optimization, and performance tuning. **Advanced DAX:** create and maintain complex measures (KPIs, time intelligence, YoY/Budget comparisons, segmentations, etc.), focusing on performance and clarity. **ETL with Power Query:** ingest, clean, and transform data from diverse sources; standardize and automate data loading processes. **Data Source Integration:** connect to and validate data sources including SQL Server / Azure SQL and others (APIs, files, SharePoint, cloud connectors), ensuring data quality and traceability. **Publishing and Governance in Power BI Service:** manage workspaces, apps, permissions (RLS), datasets, gateways, pipelines, and follow best administrative practices. **Documentation and Standardization:** develop templates, metric dictionaries, KPI definitions, naming conventions, and guidelines to scale reporting. **Support and Evolution:** analyze reporting incidents, pursue continuous improvement, optimize existing models, and support key users. **Minimum Requirements:** **Experience:** Minimum 3–5 years developing Power BI solutions in corporate environments. **Power BI:** Proficiency in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query. **SQL:** Advanced level (queries, joins, basic optimization; ideally stored procedures/views). **Microsoft Ecosystem:** Experience working with Power BI Service and Microsoft 365; Azure experience (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake) is a plus. **BI Best Practices:** Performance, model design, security (RLS), governance, and data quality. **Desirable Requirements:** **Experience with hospitality data and/or industry systems:** PMS, POS, ERP, RMS, etc. Experience with Revenue Management or financial analytics (Budget vs. Actual vs. LY, forecasting, pick\-up). Data integration via APIs or automation tools (Power Automate, Dataflows, ADF, etc.). **Certifications:** PL\-300 (Power BI Data Analyst), DP\-900 (Azure Data Fundamentals), or equivalent. Experience applying AI to reporting (assistants, classification, simple prediction, automated insights). **Languages:** English, spoken and written, at intermediate/advanced level (B2/C1\). **Skills and Competencies:** We seek a solution-oriented profile capable of balancing operational support with technical development of technological solutions. **Product- and business-oriented profile:** translate business needs into clear, useful dashboards.
