**About the role****.**
As a **Regional Account Manager (Sevilla)** for Food Service, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating sales activities within the assigned region, in alignment with the agreed strategy, objectives, plans, and budgets.
You will maintain frequent contact with end users and distributors, seeking profitable volume opportunities and executing annual joint business plans. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager.
**What you’ll be doing.**
* **Sales Development:** Drive sales growth by managing and converting opportunities. Analyze sales trends, identify emerging customer needs, and ensure timely fulfillment in collaboration with distributors.
* **Account Management:** Prepare and present professional sales proposals to maximize growth opportunities.
* **Product Promotion:** Actively promote McCain’s product portfolio by organizing and conducting product demonstrations, attending local food industry trade shows, and participating in distributor events to strengthen brand visibility and customer engagement.
* **Market Analysis:** Collect and report on competitor activities, market trends, and product performance. Provide actionable insights to inform strategic decisions and support business planning.
* **Distributor Collaboration:** Build trusted relationships with distributor sales teams and management. Provide product knowledge support and develop tailored initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness and deliver results.
* **New Product Development:** Actively participate in new product launches by providing market feedback and collaborating cross\-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams.
* **Reporting:** Prepare monthly sales reviews and presentations for management. Maintain accurate daily records in the Route book, including sales orders and customer visit reviews.
**What you’ll need to be successful.**
* **Education:** Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
* **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the food service or hospitality sector.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
* Solid understanding of the food service industry, including distribution channels, customer segments, and market dynamics.
* **Skills:** Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
* Results\-oriented mindset and commitment to exceptional customer service.
* **Technology:** Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
* **Languages:** Good command of English; fluent in Spanish (spoken and written).
* **Flexibility:** Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
* Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
