Job Summary: Uvesco's Purchasing Department seeks a professional to manage product categories, negotiate agreements and promotions, analyze sales, and contribute to customer satisfaction through a diverse product assortment. Offers professional growth and continuous training in a dynamic environment. *Uvesco’s Purchasing Department is committed to customer satisfaction by offering a diverse and carefully selected product range based on quality and variety, helping build trust and loyalty with our customers, and serving as a key differentiator against competitors.* **Your Responsibilities**: * Negotiation: Annual agreements to achieve profitability objectives. * Category management to increase sales. * Promotions: Management and negotiation of promotional activities. * Price competitiveness review. * Sales tracking and performance analysis to implement corrective actions. * Product range additions/removals — introducing innovations and managing category changes via removals. * Management and planning of in-store displays and activities, loyalty card initiatives, etc. **What We Are Looking For**: * Higher education degree (Bachelor’s, Engineering, Licentiate, etc.). Postgraduate studies related to the role are valued. * Proficiency in Office 365 and MS Teams. (Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.) * Conversational English and French are advantageous. * A procurement professional with extensive experience in retail-consumer goods, or with experience at distributors or manufacturers, or in process/systems consulting within retail-consumer goods sectors. * An organized, planned, proactive, and detail-oriented individual. * Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Initiative and strategic vision for category development, balancing customer service and profitability objectives. **What We Offer**: * Immediate hiring. * Full-time position with flexible hours under a continuous work schedule including a lunch break; intensive schedule on Fridays and during July and August. * Work location: Irun.
