Description
**Ingeteam**, a leading company specializing in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is seeking to hire a **Technician for performing and analyzing simulations** of various solutions from the Hydrogen Business Unit, located at our facilities in Zamudio, to carry out the following **responsibilities:**
* Analysis and execution of calculations and simulations using various electrical system simulation software: Matlab Simulink, PSCAD, PSSE, and Power Factory, leveraging existing models to meet customer and project requirements.
* Development of simulation models to fulfill grid connection requirements specified by operators for electrolysis plants.
* Development of simulation models primarily for sizing power converters and transformers, considering application-specific requirements.
* Analysis and interpretation of simulation results for global solution sizing or component specification.
* Generation of technical documentation containing simulation results and conclusions for internal use or delivery to customers.
* Participation in the development of new models and strategies to enhance existing products or optimize ongoing designs.
**Requirements**
University degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics
Postgraduate studies in Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, Automation, Electronics, and Industrial Control...
Proficiency in electrical simulation software: Matlab Simulink, PSCAD, or Power Factory
Technical knowledge of power converters, electricity, and grid connection
English language proficiency at B2 level
**Preferred qualifications:**
Previous experience in similar roles.
Programming language skills: Matlab, Python, C.
Familiarity with additional electrical simulation software: PSSE, PSIM...
Experience in the energy sector
Additional languages
