CIDETEC Energy Storage is seeking a candidate to join its Battery Testing Unit, where batteries of the future are tested for all types of applications—from automotive to aerospace.

Our activities cover the entire value chain, from battery chemistry to final application. We design, develop, and validate custom cells, modules, and battery systems tailored to our clients’ needs, with a strong commitment to technology transfer to industry.
**Your contribution**
You will join one of Europe’s most capable battery testing laboratories during a period of significant expansion. You will work on large-scale projects for renowned clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Commissioning test equipment; assembling test items (e.g., jigs, sensors); high-power electrical connections; and integrating instrumentation components.
* Interacting with and negotiating with suppliers, as well as collaborating with other organizational areas—including R\+D technical teams, Facilities, and Procurement.
* Designing, assembling, and disassembling electromechanical components used in project execution, following strict procedural guidelines.
* Providing support for other electromechanical needs as required.
* Preparing reports and quality-related documentation.
* Maintaining equipment and the workplace in optimal condition.

**Education:**
Vocational Training (FP) or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Energy, Installations, etc.)
**Knowledge:**
The candidate must demonstrate solid knowledge in:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP/CRM systems.
* Ability to work collaboratively and solve problems effectively.
* Demonstrable problem-solving skills and proactivity.
* High attention to detail and strong sense of commitment.
**Experience:**
Experience in a laboratory, testing center, automotive, or energy storage systems environment will be valued.
