CEU Fernando III University is opening a selection process to hire a part-time university professor for the Master's Degree in Big Data & Business Analytics, to teach during the 2025–2026 academic year. Subject to be taught: *Big Data Computing in Companies* (sessions on Wednesday afternoons). Academic requirements: University degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related fields. Will be valued: *Ph.D. in the area of specialization. * Publications in areas related to Big Data, Data Science, Machine Learning or Distributed Computing. Required experience and knowledge: *University teaching experience in subjects such as Big Data, Data Analytics or Computer Engineering. * Solid theoretical knowledge and practical experience in: + Python applied to data analysis. + Process parallelization and distributed computing. + Apache Spark and associated ecosystems (Hadoop, PySpark). * Professional experience in Big Data projects within companies or institutions will be valued.
