We operate as one company, across all locations, with shared responsibility and clear accountability. **Description** From the IT Department at Atlantica, we are looking for a Data Engineer to lead projects focused on building and maintaining the data infrastructure, using scalable data pipelines, managing process transformations, and ensuring data quality and security. **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines. * Integrate data from a variety of sources, including internal databases, third\-party APIs, and external datasets. * Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high\-quality, well\-documented data sets. * Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance across all solutions. * Optimize database performance, storage, and query execution. * Participate in the architecture and implementation of data warehouses and data lakes. * Monitor and troubleshoot data systems for reliability and performance. * Automate data processes and workflows where possible. **Required Profile** **Experience** * Minimum 3\-5 years in roles related to ML, data engineering, software development, or a related field. **Technical Competencies** * Strong programming skills in Python. * Extensive experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server). * Working knowledge of Azure platform. * Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Databricks) * Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow, Azure Synapse). * Understanding of data modeling, data structures, and data governance principles. * Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). * Exposure to machine learning workflows and model deployment. **Education** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields. **Desirable Certifications:** * **AI/ML:** Certifications in AI/ML from recognized providers (Coursera, Microsoft, AWS, Google). * **Cloud:** Azure Data Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Cloud ML Engineer. **Languages** * **Spanish:** High * **English:** High (C1 or equivalent) **Company Culture** ------------------- We believe in a culture of trust, shared goals, and accountability.
