**Description:** ---------------- At Grupo SAVIA, we are seeking a **Boiler Operator** to cover the 5th shift within the Maintenance Team in the Pharmaceutical Sector, for a client located in Sant Cugat. Your role will alternate between operating pharmaceutical-sector facilities and boilers, and maintaining the various equipment and installations comprising the production system. The most specific responsibilities of this position include: * Monitoring and maintaining industrial boilers in compliance with regulations. * Starting up boilers to generate steam for industrial processes; igniting gas, oil, or solid-fuel boilers using ignition sources. * Regulating the essential fuel and water flow; checking and treating boiler feedwater using specialized chemical agents. * Operating control panels and regulating temperature, pressure, draft, and other operational parameters. * Identifying malfunctions in boilers and auxiliary units and implementing necessary corrective actions. * Providing support to the current maintenance team on production lines. * Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on General Support Systems (GSS), including: cooling towers, water softeners, compressors, stills, pure steam generation/distribution, water treatment, compressed air, and cryogenic gases (hydrogen, oxygen, etc.). * Visualizing and interpreting SCADA systems. **Requirements:** --------------- * Valid Boiler Operator License is mandatory. * Vocational Training Certificate (Intermediate Level) in Electricity and Electronics / Intermediate Vocational Training in Electrotechnical Installations, or equivalent. * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial or building maintenance. * Availability to cover the 5th rotating shift (Monday–Sunday: Day–Night–Night). * Preferred qualifications: Legionella Risk Installation Maintenance Certificate; Basic Occupational Health and Safety Training. * Proactive individual eager to learn and perform diverse tasks.
