**Description:** ---------------- At the **ABD Group**, we are seeking an **Educational Assistant** to cover a vacation replacement at the **CAS Baluard**, a Center for Attention and Follow-up on Drug Dependence, located in the Drassanes district of Barcelona. The position combines community intervention functions. Responsibilities: * Observe and assess the condition and situation of the areas adjacent to the service. * Identify users present in the immediate public space in order to plan interventions, potentially minimizing difficulties associated with access to and use of the service, where appropriate. * Ensure a conflict-free public space free from disruptive practices related to public order and public health. * Foster a dynamic, friendly, and proactive synergy between people and the immediate public space. * Interact with and intervene among all civic and community agents passing through the immediate public space when their presence interferes with the center’s activities or those of its users, or when conflicts or disputes arise. * Maintain constant communication with other parties involved in managing the controlled spaces (Access Control and Reception). * Assist and intervene, notifying security forces if necessary, in case of conflict. * Intervene with all users who display or attempt anomalous behavior toward themselves, the service, or the community. * Know/determine which users have been sanctioned or denied entry to ensure compliance with such sanctions. We offer a **temporary contract from 20/12/2025 to 09/01/2026**, with a work schedule of **26 hours per week**, on **Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.** **Requirements:** --------------- * Experience working with vulnerable and socially excluded groups, as well as with services supporting people who use drugs and/or mental health services. * Conversational proficiency in Arabic.
