Job Description
Ilerwork is seeking a Public Works Site Manager to join a company specialized in providing skilled labor and specialized equipment to major national construction firms, acting as a subcontractor on civil engineering and construction projects.
The company participates in highly significant projects across diverse typologies, including railway, industrial, road, port, airport, and urban development projects, frequently collaborating with some of the country’s leading construction firms.
You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring several construction sites simultaneously, serving as the liaison between work teams, the company, and clients. This is a position with a strong organizational and relational component, where communication and management skills will be critical to success.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the execution of multiple construction projects simultaneously (approximately 10–12 projects).
* Organize and manage work teams deployed on-site.
* Monitor project planning, progress, and requirements.
* Control measurements, productivity, and output of executed works.
* Maintain smooth communication with site managers, foremen, and client construction firm supervisors.
* Manage operational incidents and needs arising from work execution.
* Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and productivity standards.
* Report project status and progress to the Operations Management team.
It is essential to build effective relationships with clients, construction firm foremen, and internal work teams—generating trust and facilitating coordination among all parties. We seek a proactive, adaptable individual with a positive attitude and strong desire for professional growth.
Requirements
Mandatory:
* Prior experience in civil or public works.
* Knowledge of construction execution, measurements, team organization, and production control.
* Willingness to travel regularly across Catalonia and Aragon.
* Valid Class B driver’s license.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
* Experience working for construction sector subcontractors.
* Knowledge of railway, industrial, road, airport, port, or urban development projects.
* Communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments with multiple stakeholders.
* Proactive attitude, commitment, and results orientation.
Benefits
Stable incorporation into a solid and growing company.
Participation in large-scale projects with high technical diversity.
Company vehicle, per diems, and travel-related expenses.
Annual gross salary between €35,000 and €45,000 (negotiable).
Autonomy, responsibility, and professional development within an expanding organization.
